Guest guest
Hi Everyone!Today I did the intermediate workout from Huckabee's Punch DVD. It fit the bill in terms of time and it was a fun routine. Not too hard, not too easy. Afterwards I did a "virgin" Margaret workout - High Voltage which was released in 1993. So, it is a bit dates in terms of outfits, etc. It is filmed outdoors on a pier in Florida, though, so that was a nice touch. Like most of MR's workout this one is divided into 2 30 min sessions. I will do the 2nd workout tomorrow. Today we did calves (I am not a big fan of working my calves, so I did a little but also focused on some stretching) quads (standing exericses, squats, plies, etc.), hamstrings & glutes (floorwork - this is where MR really shines, her floorwork is tough, even w/out weights!), abs (I did a few of her exercises then did my own thing w/ some planks, etc.), then it was on to deltoids and back (hi rep, low weight). So far, I'm enjoying this rotation - it is enabling me to get through my virgin piles and is pretty low dread and good for the heat, too! Tomorrow the plan is to do the 2nd High Voltage workout, followed by either yoga or Pilates plus my long outdoor walk. Hope everyone has a good one today.
