My name is Helena, I am married to Adam, we have two daughters, Hannah 8 years and 5 years, has global developmental delay and PMG. We live in the U.K. and I have been able to find out very little about this condition from her Doctors, basically we were just told she has PMG, and this is why she has learning difficulties and developmental delay, and then we were left to get on with it! I am concerned what the future holds for us, and what will be capable of as an adult. Everyone see's her as a cute child, because she looks " normal " people do not understand about her disability. is also deaf and has renal problems and also some behaviour and communication problems although her speech is improving. Currently she attends a main stream school, although she ( and we) are finding this hard. I have never had the oportunity to contact others who have a child with this problem, and I would appreciate the support and sharing of information that must be so valuable to all.
