Dear Caroline,

That is absolutely wonderful news. It does sound like you have a great

Doctor. I am sorry you have been having such a difficult time. I have

always said and believed that good things happen to good people. You are

living proof of this.

I hope this is a trend and things will start getting much better and easier

for you. Thanks for sharing the good news with us. Take care of yourself

and get better soon. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

OT: So happy I could cry!!!

Thank you all for all of your love and prayers!!! I have been so sick for 14

months, and without insurance since Dec 1, 2001. I have been diligently trying

to find insurance but everything takes 2 years, 1 year, 6 months, or I am over

income, or have to pay $400.00 a month for just my coverage (family is another

$350.00 a month) with safety net while on unemployement. With a $900.00 house

payment, $500.00 a month in prescriptions, and other basic expenses, I just

can't do it.

Yesterday, I was in so much pain, I couldn't move. I was in tears, pain

increased my adrenaline and crashed my blood sugar all day, but I ended so sick

to my stomach from pain, I didn't want to eat. I was a mess. Still am sort of,

only less pain today. I called my Rheumy, expained the money / insurance

problem and the pain to the receptionist, Dove. A few minutes after I hung up

the phone, Dove called back. She, my doctor, and Mina, my doctors nurse, had a

discussion with each other. They got very upset about the situation, and thought

it was wrong for anyone to have allowed this to happen to someone like me. " What

is she supposed to do???? Sell her house in the dead of winter, and live in a

tent so she can have medicine???!!!!!!!!!??? " Aparently, my rheumy was very

upset about the issue.

Dove said " Doctor wants you to keep your appointment on the 28th. He will be

treating you at no charge. " (I almost burst into tears! ... but I waited till I

hung up) NOW...I told you he was a good doctor, didn't I? " Thanks again to all

of you who kept me in your prayers. I am so grateful!!!
