Guest guest
I had planned a video workout but ended up spending the day with Miriam while had a friend over who is staying the night and most of tomorrow while his parents are out of town and DH was assisting with and attending a wedding. I offered to have her invite a friend over but she didn't want to since she'd been with friends the last few days and wanted to just be with me. So, since she wanted to do Wii, I suggested we do Wii Fit. After a long while, she got bored and picked up a book and encouraged me to just keep going so I did for over 40 minutes, doing a wide variety of activities from all the categories. I totally smoked the hula hoop cardio game, which cracked me up because I can't keep one up more than a second or two in real life! I also did quite a few pushups and planks and lots of yoga poses. I got lots of positive comments from my virtual trainer too! It was fun but didn't really feel like much of a workout since the exercises are so disconnected and only last a few minutes each. Meanwhile though, my calves feel worked, which is a really weird feeling, I've never known them to feel tight like this before. I guess I'll see what they're like in the morning. I should stretch them I suppose and maybe I will but I'm just not feeling like removing my butt from the couch to do it! Maybe before I go to bed I'll try though. Guest guest
Nice job, ! My Wii has been neglected once again since I ended my EA2 rotation, but that's pretty typical. I go in phases with it - though if it doesn't cool off pretty soon maybe I'll start doing some add-ons with the Wii. I know I'm in the minority, but I sure miss (and prefer) the snow. :-( Stay cool tomorrow - if you get the humidity we had today! Guest guest
Hi , Yeah, last week was pretty sucky! The dogs and I hid in the a/c most of the time, but I did get out for some dog walks and bike rides anyway. And the bugs, oh the bugs!!! Ack! But, I figure if I can go for an hour on the bike when it's 90 degrees and humid, I'll be in that much better bike shape by the fall and will be able to ride harder and farther! (further?) ;-) Right? Lemons into Lemonade, lemonade, lemonade.... Hugs back, Sara > > > > I had planned a video workout but ended up spending the day with Miriam while had a friend over who is staying the night and most of tomorrow while his parents are out of town and DH was assisting with and attending a wedding.
