You are 100% correct that N CAL is

beautiful, I grew in that area, I just recently moved away, and do not miss it

for a min, now when I put my blinker on and other cars slows down and lets me

in. In CA you can not signal as people think you will take their space and speed

up to block you from going into their lane. It’s like bumper cars on the

freeways. This just one of many examples of the attitude of over 50% of the

people that lives in the bay area. There noises are stuck so high they believe that are the next

best thing to God. This is just my option. I have lived around the world and traveled most of it. Only one other

place in the world I think is

worse then the bay area and that is (Parris, France). If you live in the Bay

area and I have offended you I’m sorry I only am telling you how I feel about

where I was born and raised. Home is no Central Texas… and I love it here….

Most of all the People… Here is another example when I lived in CA I did not

know my neibors and they lived only 30 feet to the side of me. Where I live all

my neibors have 5 – 15 acres and I know all of them for a mile each way, they

waye to us as we drive by and where we first moved in we had so many pies

brought to us as welcome to the area

>>I've been to Grass Valley! I

used to drive truck for Safeway... all of northern CA grocery and

produce is serviced (or was) out of the warehouses near >>Berkley.

Bakery was in Sac. G.V. is on the way to Squaw Valley, just off 80.

Right? We used to go skiing pretty often when I lived in the bay

area... ages >>ago...

>>Jax

is right, that area is pretty. BUT NOT AS PRETTY AS OREGON!!!

Oh yeah Tim, I would agree with you about the bay area!! My mom lived in Santa which is about 60 miles north of the bay and just getting to her home was awful,, I know what you mean about the traffic! just awful!! HOWEVER, its not like that here in Grass Valley,, people are very polite here and that is one of the reasons I love it here... I have friends who live in Texas too and they say the same thing you do.. they just love it,, I would be happy to live there myself too... and the cost of living is so much cheaper and you can get a heck of a lot more bang for your buck there , especially as compared to Calif!!!Tim Flynn wrote: You are 100% correct that N CAL is beautiful, I grew in that area, I just recently moved away, and do not miss it for a min, now when I put my blinker on and other cars slows down and lets me in. The varices were first discovered about 5 years ago. The BCLD reports 4 minor varices. I've had 2 more scopes since then, and there has been no change. In fact, the doc who did the last scope couldn't find them.

I'm on week 41 of tx...undetectable at 12 and 24 weeks. I haven't had a biopsy due to a blood disorder.Thanks On 2/10/06, Hunter

I'm sorry to hear that . Folks! Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think esophogeal varices are one of the complications brought on by cirrhosis. I don't know if you can get them for other reasons. Have you had a biopsy?

I know it is much easier that a biopsy, and that over three years I have seen a reduction in the size of some spots that show up in the ultrasound, and that this last one looked clearer than any I'd had before. I had two ultrasounds at the VA hospital in Portland OR before they said I should have a biopsy. The biopsy confirmed what the ultrasounds had shown. I think it is pretty common practice to use ultrasound for this purpose as it is less invasive than the biopsy. My best, Eat well, sleep well, be happy! s <

Yes you are right,, they ARE caused by Cirrhosis because when the liver gets hardened, it affects the blood vessels in the liver and causes the blood to back up and that is what causes the varicies! see you still remember! hugs hon jaxHunter wrote: I'm sorry to hear that .
