Guest guest
So happy you enjoyed Eoin, ! I have all of his yoga dvd's and highly recommend his Blissology series (Judy has it too) there are 6 dvds, each with a full yoga class, a shorter version of that same class, and a meditation, and it's done outside in Bali. I have been neglecting yoga and really need to get back on the yoga bandwagon myself! Thank you for the reminder! Namaste, , I am glad you have been posting about this instructor. I bought Pursuit of Happy Hips. I love this DVD. It's absolutely beautiful. There was so much I loved about this yoga DVD that I don't know where to start. But first... Today I did Cathe's M.I.S. I haven't done this one in many years. I wanted a full body workout, so I did this instead of my scheduled Pyramid Upper Body. I used weights similar to the Pyramids. I will do this one again next weekend, but I'll heavy up a little. I also subbed on a couple of moves that are wrong for me. It worked out well. Subbed front raises instead of upright shoulder rowsSubbed standing two-handed French press instead of triceps dipsI completely subbed abs on MIS. While Cathe was knocking herself out doing crunch variations, I did a series of planks, side planks, table, and some Pyramid DVD style abs on the ball. I love prone roll outs (feet on swiss ball while in prone plank). As soon as she finished her rather cursory ending stretch, I started the Eion Finn's " All Downhill. " I loved standing pigeon pose. I hadn't done that one before. I'm grateful for my recent Yoga classes. I feel like I can get more out of my home yoga sessions now. I've noticed that yoga class is helping me with everything. When I'm cycling, I'm much more aware of my knee and hip positioning while pedaling. I also noticed I can lift heavier on static lunges. Some of it has to do with balance and alignment, but also with focus. There's more, but it's hard to explain. This workout made me so happy. It was yin and yang.Happy Workouts!...who is excited about Cathe's upcoming low impact series.

Guest guest
Nice work, ! I like MIS very much - perhaps I'll have to do some parts from it as well while I'm in parts-mode. I remember it being chaptered pretty well. Do you have any go-to places online where buy bike parts at a good price? I'm afraid I may have to give in and replace several things on my aging bike pretty soonif I want to ride more than 5-6 miles away from my house. I'll probably need (at least) a new chain, chain rings, and brake pads... I've ordered from Nashbar before, but wondered if they was anyone else you've used. Thanks! Guest guest
That looks so good, . I remember you talking about these. I will probably get them eventually. I ordered Pure and Simple Yoga and a couple of beautiful yoga anatomy books: The Key Poses of Yoga Volumes i and II by Ray Long. My yoga instructor had these, and they're really wonderful. This is doing me so much good! Squeeze it in if you can. I really think it helps with lifting. So happy you enjoyed Eoin, !
