Sleeping

After my x-dh walked out two years ago, (now 15) started having

problems sleeping in her bed after she returned from sleep-away camp. I did

not put up a fuss, but allowed it to go on wayyy too long. The longer it goes

on, the harder it is to stop it! For her, it was related to her anxiety, not

just about her father, me, etc but her OCD. She shared that when she is

alone in her bed, she would ruminate about all of her obsessions and could not

then drift off to sleep. Once we got that piece more under control (with

medication and timing of meds), I was able to get her back into her bed, where

she

continues to sleep to this day.

Hang in there!
