Guest guest
Hi ! Long time ,, no hear!!! How are you doing? Any more of those spells? I sure hope not!brain_child846 wrote: > As long as they are not using razors or any implements that can cut you and draw blood there is no need to disclose anything of your HCV status. Thanks Janet. Now I know. I sometimes feel lost in time, not quite with today's world. HCV is just one more bad thing the current world has that the old world didn't. Another thing I recently became aware of for the first time are flocks of buzzards. Is that a bad sign or what? I read in the local paper last week about a neighborhood here in Columbia MD where the buzzards are congregating, wrecking roofs, scaring people, etc. I've seen these flocks only a few times myself. I don't recall ever hearing about them until recently.Pete Jackie

Guest guest
WONDERFUL ,, thats so good! Now, the only question I have about the reduction of Riba, is was that done in the first 12 weeks of treatment or later on? I sure hope it was later on as the first 12 weeks is the most important in clearing this danged virus! IM so happy you are doing well ! AND, you are almost done! Stay in touch ,, ok? hugs jaxbrain_child846 wrote: >> Hi ! Long time ,, no hear!!! How are you doing? Any more of those spells? I sure hope not!Hi Jackie. I'm going down the home stretch with only THREE MONTHS OF TREATMENT LEFT! As I may have said, I had to reduce my Riba dose because of the anemia and that has helped tremendously. Still testing viral-clear, knock on wood.Hugs to all.PeteJackie

Guest guest
Well actually ,, if there were any little buggers left ,, you probably killed em with that double dose,, lol, NO NO ONE SHOULD DO THIS ON PURPOSE!!!brain_child846 wrote: >> WONDERFUL ,, thats so good! Now, the only question I have about the reduction of Riba, is was that done in the first 12 weeks of treatment or later on? That's exactly what the doctor said on day one: the first 12 weeks are the most important. I later pondered why he was telling me that. His comments seemed to betray a strong possibility that at some point I would become unable to tolerate the dose he prescribed, which for my weight, I later found out, was a high. I stayed on the full dose for six months before I started reductions. No Procrit was allowed in this study by Schering. One night last summer I took a double dose, 1200 mg, making it 3600 mg for the day. I tossed and turned all night, feeling more embalmed than alive. I'm sure some can relate. If you think normal Riba is bad, try a double dose! That'll kill them varmint viruses for sure. I had already cleared the virus by then so that was probably not a factor.Pete Jackie
