Thanks Lynn!! I haven't been reading messages this morning because I've been reading this site all morning long. I love it. The only thing that i don't agree with here is starting out on 130 mgs of the natural thyroid. I just think that that is too much T3, when a person's system hasn't been introduced to it at all. The only way that I can see that being the right way is if the person is transferring over from taking synthetic T3. From everything I've gleaned over the past year or so, 30 mgs is still a good safe starting dose for almost anyone, regardless of how much thyroid function they still have left on their own. Call me too safe, but I believe that this is particularly so, the longer a person has been undertreated, untreated, so the more circulatory (in particular) damage they may have, whether it be permanent or temporary. I also believe that older folks from around middle age on up need to start slower because of potential hidden circulatory problems, regardless of whether they were caused by low thyroid, former Grave's, or just aging period.

Some one posted this link on About Thyroid. There was not a lot here that I did not already know, but it was really great to see the information all in one place. I would love to know who put this site together! http://www.thyroidrevolution.com/index.html
