WOW have I missed these posts, !  Welcome back!  Tuck jumps and plyo are fun and it looks like you went all out with it!    I have the Blissology series too and somehow knew you would have picked this one up too.  I LOVE it.  I haven't done the meditations but have done the full yoga practices several times. 

I may follow suit and do an STS workout today for upper body, or The Firm's Upper Body Premix.  But I think I'm more in a Cathe mood today :) Hugs!

I bought the Blissology as soon as it came out, I love it also. I've done all of the full routines, now I'm doing all the quickie ones lol.

Since doing a tough workout today I'm trying to come up with an easier cardio for tomorrow.

My little one is back in school so it's all 6 am workouts for me again.

hi michelle! thanks for asking about chinook. he is still my

best bud :) this summer we have been working hard on 'staying in

the yard'.... even though the yard is one acre in size, he just

cant resist what lays beyond our fence. he is behaving today...

so far!

I'm going to try to start posting my workouts here again. Sorry it's been so long. So I'm going to start posting my workout today.

I'm doing Cathe's STS Meso 2 workouts this month along with all 4 of the STS Plyo workouts from that series. I finished up with the final Plyo workout this morning and it was a toughie.

I started out with yoga and did Eoin Fin (Bliss Thursday) I did the first 20 minutes then put in Plyo legs #35 (skipping the warm up). I did all of that and then stopped at the last plyo and put Bliss Thursday back in and finished it up.

This entire routine was an hour and 15 minutes. I could've never done all of this during the week. Just plyo legs is 50 minutes which was very doable during the week, but man am I glad I got it done.

I burned 487 calories.

Lateral step ups 12

Sit N stand ups with jump and weight in hand 8

Walking lunges 12

Reach and tap corner of step with weighted gloves

Alternating side lunges 15

Band hops one leg and turn corner hops with other leg

One legged deadlifts- skipped

One leg squat thrusts - I use both legs

Squats narrow stance 15

Lateral jumps over platform

Low lunge/squat combo

Slow straddle jumps

Stiff legged dead lifts- skipped

Squat jumps

Static lunges- 12

I was trying so hard to remember his name lol. I knew it was a very unique name. So happy to hear he's doing well. Will you be taking him out for those winter walks again?

Our dogs are doing well. We rescued a Shitzue in January. She was running across the busy highway about to get hit. We also had to put my oldest beagle down last July. She was 13 and developed a tumor in her belly. It was all very sudden. I didn't think it would be as hard as it is to miss her, but I miss her every day, even after a year. We had a stone made for her with her name on it and we buried her out back and planted a rose tree next to her. OK, gotta stop talking about that................

is well. She started 3rd grade on Friday. So far so good. She likes her new teacher, so do we. She seems really nice. That always helps. School is hard enough, but with a good and NICE teacher it makes the year a whole lot better.

one of our wonderful mutual friends gifted me with this set!

and ive been happy ever since...LOL

ive only done some of the quickies though... and now im shying

away from down dogs and chats because of my stupid neck/back

thing.... so i probably wont be able to get these out for a

while. i will always luv eoin though of course :)

also, everyone is probably wondering why im posting so much

lately.... that is because i bought myself a cute little netbook

for my birthday :) the kids had taken over my desktop computer

(because their computers are just not good enough apparently), so

i could never get online. but now, wow, i love this thing!

however now i have to go! netbook needs charging...lol.

chinook (pronounced like shi-nuk) is an eskimo or indian word

meaning 'snow eater'.

there are other meanings too but that one is the most appropriate

for an alaskan malamute dog. i didnt name him that... his

original owner did. but when the lady at the animal shelter

asked if i was interested in a malamute, i jokingly asked her if

his name was 'chinook'...lol... it is a common name for this

kind of dog. especially out west in alberta where a chinook is

a warm wind that comes off of the mountains, producing a spring

thaw in the middle of winter.

Hi !

I'm so glad to hear from you, too!! Would you believe I was just chatting

offlist to about making some mishmoshes of workouts and she reminded me

about they way you used to do it with your dvd to vhs method? That was like 2

days ago, seriously. :-D

I'm so sorry to hear that you had to put one of your beagles down. {{{hugs}}} I

don't remember which pups we had when you were last here, but we lost one of

ours to kidney failure at the end of '08 and were down to 2 dogs. It was so

hard. In the spring of 2010 I had the " bright " idea to adopt a energentic 1

year old dog - and the 2 older dogs haven't been too impressed so far, heh. Be

we're managing. ;)
