,

So sorry to hear that Koti is back in the hospital. But it is so nice to

hear that you had carrying and understanding people around at a time you

neeeded it most.

Hope your little angel starts feeling better soon.

From: A Hiatt

She is dehydrated,

and has lost a few pounds just since Tuesdays visit to the ER. They are

going to run a few tests and see what to do from there. They are talking

again about a nissen. One of the tests is going to see how fast

everything is going through her system. I guess it sounds like she still

has formula on her belly when she starts her next feed causing her to be

sick. She also has what I think they called residual(?) becuase once in a

while she vomits from her mickey button- or the opening around it. I will

keep everyone updated as much as I can. Love-

Sounds so much like what Hannah experienced recently. In/out of hospital three

times with severe vomiting, and no answers till the 3rd admission. She too would

appear to be throwing up almost an entire feed quite some time after it had been

given. Even very slow gravity feeds didnt help, and in the end it turned out

that her reflux was not being controlled well enough by the capsule med

(omeprazole -'Losec' etc) that we were using for it. It is now given as a liquid

preparation, and the vomiting was abruptly controlled, and Hannah has even begun

to regain the weight that she lost.

Some of the doctors were talking about doing a fundo but I am glad that we

changed the medic'n first so as to avoid the fundo surgery. I guess it may still

be done one day, if things decline again, but for now we have solved the

problem.

Thinking of you , and sending love and hugs to Koti. Hope she is well very

soon.

(Hannah's mum, Australia)

- I'm so sorry to hear that little Koti is in the hospital. I was at

the hospital yesterday with Crystal, so I can relate. They didn't keep her,

but I know how difficult it is in those places...It did my heart good to

hear how helpful & caring everyone was around you...

Please give your brave little girl very many gentle {{{ HUGS }}} & soft

kisses for us...

Hang in there !!!!

Love & Light...

Chris
