I only have a minute, but I wanted to let everyone know that we are in Children's Mercy Hospital in KC and Maddox is on day 2 of Halo traction. Joe and I went last Tues. to the consult for the rod surgery on December 7th. At 's suggestion I brought up halo traction to Maddox's doc and long story short, here we are. He did well getting the halo on, and we will be slowly adding the weight as Maddox is the smallest child they have done halo traction on here, and his dr. wants to be very cautious. Please keep Maddox and our family in your prayers. If there is anyone who has been through this and would like to share, please do. I will keep everyone posted as time allows.
