Hi Everyone,

I'm suffering from a lot of neck and shoulder tension right now as a result of work stress. This happens every year and I have been doing this job for about 10 years now, so I should be used to it - but it always hits me hard. GRR! The neck/shoulder tension is giving me headaches that make it difficult to do cardio, so my plan to do some cardio with yoga this morning was scrapped. Instead, I did some neck tension relieving exercises from Elaine Petrone (?) Miracle Ball Method (I have the balls and the little book that came with it). I think it may have helped a bit. I would use these more if there were a DVD that accompanied the book - I just find it hard to use the book, though I suppose if I memorized the exercises it would work fine. Since, you pretty much position the balls and then rest. After that I did Suzanne Deason's Yoga Conditioning for Weight Loss. I this yoga practice. It helped relieve some muscle tension.I hope that tomorrow I will feel up for doing Freytag's walking workout on Exercise TV and, I also hope to have some extra time to do Yoga Conditioning for Weight Loss again. It will be a 90 min session if I can do it all, so we shall see....Hope everyone has a good day!Donna
