How right you are . The tube has allowed us to enjoy our daughter far more than the pre-tube frustration and effort ever would have. It is a joy to see her healthy and comfortable, and the benefits far outweigh the disadvantages. Your email expressed perfectly the fears, frustrations and the dilemma in choosing tube feeding, but also highlighted the positive aspect of it, and I am glad that your experience of it has been so good, and that it has changed your lives for the better. I am glad, too, that you shared your story because I get to feel quite isolated at times, not hearing much about tube feeds. Even though for us it is now a natural and regular part of our day, it is still nice to share such situations with others in the same boat.
