Guest guest Posted June 11, 2011 Report Share Posted June 11, 2011 Hi Everyone, This morning I did "Gentle Wake Up" from AM/PM Yoga for Beginners. It was nice, but a little too slow for me - I guess it *was* a gentle wake-up. I was in the mood for something more active, oh well! This is a nice DVD though w/ a lot of options for different types of practices and Barbara Benagh's instruction is very good. It is more of a restorative practice in general than "power yoga" which I'm fine w/ since I don't really do "power yoga" any more!Yesterday, my friend and I walked for 2 hours. I don't think we'll be able to go again for 3 weeks! Next Friday our kids are off from school, then the next 2 Fridays my friend is on vacation. I think I'm going to try to keep up with it myself - but it is not as easy to go for 2 hours in the heat alone. We'll see. I may just do a shorter loop to keep it going.
