Guest guest
Hi, everyone, a while ago I reported on my broken wrist. I got thru surgery okay and now the hard part is the therapy. I'm in a brace which I can take off for showering and doing my stretches. But I still haven't exercised. I went for a walk one day but it made my hand swell up a bit. The swelling is the most painful part of this right now. I'm faithfully doing my exercises and going to my therapy twice a week. I've put on a few pounds and I'm really looking forward to getting back in action with the rest of you!
Guest guest
ooh.....i can relate...during my spin classes and dog stuff my wrist would swell too!!....I am in therapy I hate the lack of range of motion ...can't get in down dog/plank position or push up...put can squeeze my putty.. etc.it will get better. i am nearly 3 months out and it still swells after walking, cycling or dog agilty..my only good thing is it was my dominant hand so eating is hard...maintained and actually dropped a few pounds.keep a chin upjudyTo: exercisevideos Sent: Sun, June 26, 2011 3:22:23 PMSubject: My broken wrist is no fun :-( Hi, everyone, a while ago I reported on my broken wrist. Guest guest
Actually I have 2 metal plates in there. My range of motion is getting better but slowly. I'm not giving up though. I want my hand back! And I plan to do pushups eventually! > > > > ooh.....i can relate...during my spin classes and dog stuff my wrist would > >swell > > > > too!!....I am in therapy I hate the lack of range of motion ...can't get in > >down > > > > dog/plank position or push up...put can squeeze my putty.. etc. > > > > it will get better. i am nearly 3 months out and it still swells after walking, > > > > cycling or dog agilty > > ..my only good thing is it was my dominant hand so eating is hard...maintained > > > and actually dropped a few pounds. > > > > keep a chin up > > judy > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ________________________________ > > From: revaddict <revaddict@> > > To: exercisevideos > > Sent: Sun, June 26, 2011 3:22:23 PM > > Subject: My broken wrist is no fun :-( > > > > > > Hi, everyone, > > > > a while ago I reported on my broken wrist.
