Last night I did the first segment on Trudie Styler's Weight Loss Yoga

Dvd. It was a nice flow of movements repeated for the 18 minutes. You get a nice focus on flexibility because of the movements and range of motion. I cannot call it a weight loss workout, but it does move fluidly

not quickly. This morning I did the AM bonus workout from the dvd. I do not recall how long it was, but the style was similar with flowing movements albeit they were a little more gentler for a morning routine. After yoga I did Firm's Zero in Ten leg

segment. This combines leg movements with plyometrics. The exercises parallel each other ie.) you do a weight squat then you do jump squats etc. I found the exercise were identical to what they do in the new Express workouts. Then it was time to run! Sooooooooo I went to the trail only to find they had closed the trail down because an escape suspect. The suspect complained of chest pains so they of course took him tot he hospital where he escaped and some of the dirt trails (as opposed to the paved ones i stay on for safety) are near the hospital. No word on if they found him, but I was pissed!!! The one day a week I can go to the trail by myself and this guy had to pull this crap. Do the

crime do the time buster! The twist was he wasn't wanted for violent crimes and probably would have not had any felony charges, but now he does :/. People! Well I tried to run on the mean messed up construction laden streets, but the run didn't go so hot. I did the best

I could and just hope for a better one on Tuesday. Not sure if I will do the track again or try to go to the trail with my daughter. It is normally a safe place and these types of events do not occur often. Plenty of people run/bike/walk on the trail and it is patrolled as well as having emergency phones every mile or so. I wasn't scared of the event I was just pissed off that I wasn't allowed to run. A fellow runner was upset and so was a cyclist. This was our "me" times. OOOPPSSS,

going of on a tangent again LOL. I think since I did yoga last night, had a full workout this morning, and finished my night with some foam rolling and stretching, I am going to get to another nice yoga workout in the AM. BTW it is my birthday tomorrow!!!

GRRRR on the escapee.  I was miffed about rising waters closing off the Esplanade for awhile too.  You have your heart set on a run to have your efforts thwarted.  Good on getting the yoga done, along with foam roller work!   i need to get that in tomorrow at some point myself.

hugs,
