Tricia, I think it is so wonderful that it is beyond words about how I feel

with you meeting up with Connie. Even though her husband is so very

wonderful, I think it will really strengthen her just meeting you. How far

are you having to travel in order to meet her? By the way, it is really

wonderful that Dennis is going with you. He is either worried about you

driving yourself, or is intensely tied to you...perhaps a combination of

both. Either way, I really think he is a jewel. But, of course, so are

you.

If you don't mind my saying this....If Connie even starts to sound like she

is about finished or getting sick of with working with doctors on this

thing, please be tough with her. Unfortunately I had to be on the phone

with her that night. She was (that night) where I was when I was clearly

suicidal. She just needs TLC and probably the just you know how to dispense

when necessary for your child.

I by no means am trying to offend Connie....just SEVERELY concerned about

her. It is what I conveyed to Dr. Cush (secret here girlfriend), thus his

phone call to her. I will forever be grateful for him on this one as well

as all the others in this group he has touched. A VERY good man.

Have a good and safe trip. Much Love, Kathi

Dear Kath,

Thank you for all the kind words!

Actually Connie just called! They are just now headed into Janesville, Wis.

So they are about half-way to Rochester. She said she is doing fairly well

with the trip so far. Also, Joe's (her hubby) blood pressure and blood sugar

were so high yesterday his doc wanted to put him in hospital. No way would

he do that, he is driving them to Rochester, and he of course wants to be

with

Connie.

My husband is doing the driving for us. I don't drive that often..haven't

since

the shoulder replacement in 2000. Yes, he is a jewel, and yes he is

intensely

tied to me..and me to him. We would be lost w/o each other. (sometimes we

get lost together!)

Trust me on this one Kath, I will say what I feel is best for Connie. She

does

need lots of TLC and I plan to give her lots of hugs! We have already asked

our men if we could have an hour or so just for ourselves to visit. Being

the

great men they are..they readily agreed.

Connie speaks very highly of you, and is forever grateful that you called

Dr. Cush

on her behalf. She does plan to make an appointment and go to see him, after

this

trip to Mayo is behind her.

Hoping you are having a good day my dear friend!!!

Love and hugs, Tricia

Honey,

Don't lose sleep over it! If Connie reads that...she will read this,

and she KNOWS you only meant to help her,and were very, very

concerned! Connie is a sweetheart, and she will realize you only meant

to help.

Love, Tricia
