Guest guest
If I hadnt gone to the place that did my ultrasound and biopsy to get the results for myself I would have gone on believing I had cancerous lesions on my liver . It was the fact that I read them for myself that kept me from having a bunch of other more invasive tests done . I even have my biopsy results and my doctor doesnt yet . LOL .... after finding out that he had read me someone else's ultrasound results the doc decided he liked the fact that I keep him from making an error and he asked me to continue doing so . I DEMAND copies of MY recoreds,, all my labs, etc, and I keep them in a file at home... and IF I have had a test and havent heard from the doc in a normal amount of time, IM on the phone like a madwoman until I GET my results!!! YOU have to be your own advocate, remember you have only you to take care of ,,they have hundreds of patients,,, jax elizabeth savage wrote: LOL my doc asks me to bring him copies cause it takes my lab forever to fax them to him . Besides doctors are so busy sometimes that they tend to forget to call us , and when we have abnormal tests that can be harmful if something goes untreated because the dr had no time . I am agressive when it comes to my own records and health . I also tend to intimidate doctors alot silvianursey wrote: Cbert gets his too. Otherwise we would never hear from his " God Doctor " .
