Guest guest
Heidi,So glad that you were able to get that trip to the park in but such a close call with the broken glass! Wow, I would've been freaking out a little! It stopped raining today, so we did go to the park, whew! Bex almost ate a jagged broken red wine glass yesterday (he took it from the dishwasher, broke it and the jagged edge was in his mouth when I ran in and screamed), so we are lucky we weren't at the hospital before the hospital trip ; ) Heidi, Bexon's Mama, (2 years old, in 4th cast from Salt Lake City Shriners, currently down from 61 degrees to 21)From: Patty Bowen <bowenpattyyahoo (DOT) com>To: infantile_scoliosis @yahoogroups. comSent: Tue, December 8, 2009 9:17:32 AMSubject: Re: [infantile_scoliosi s] the countdown begins for Bex Heidi,Well, I hope that this week isn't too challenging! It stinks being stuck inside. Isabella wanted to go for a walk the other day but it was only 30 degrees and much colder than that with the windchill... let me try to explain that to a 2 yr old. I will be praying for that great correction! (off for one day on Mon.) He had a really bad night cough last week, but it seems to be getting better. Our pedi said to semi ntine him, so no music class or going to the mall, etc...we are stuck at home all week, and it's RAINING! He loves to be outside. Hopefully we'll have some days that it won't rain and get in an outing or 2 to the park. He has started screaming bloody murder to get our attention- he's not in pain at all- so this week may be a real challange. ; ) He was 21 degrees in cast last time, and we do think he's gone up one shoe size. He looks taller. I just want at least 2 degrees in cast 5, then we'd be in the teens, from the 60s, in five casts. Oh, I'm just gonna put it out there- I pray cast 5 is a miracle cast! And close to our last! Why not, God? It's been 10 months for us, so far...we just don't know if we have another few casts ahead or another 10. The Mommy nerves are beginning- sigh!Heidi, Bexon's Mama, (2 years old, in 4th cast from Salt Lake City Shriners, currently down from 61 degrees to 21)
