Quick Check in - Today I did Kettlenetics Cardio Balanced - my first time through that one. I have done Flow Motion Basics 2 or 3 times. I liked Cardio Balance - at times she went fast (for me, part of my issue was not being familiar w/ the workout) but this one is an easy one to do at your own pace - since there is enough repetition with the exercises - just do your thing until it is time to move on to the next exercise. I am not sure if a true kettlebell devotee would like these or not - they aren't "real" kettlebells - it is more of a FIRM-4-Limb thing w/ a kettlebell and kettlebell style exercises. So, your HR gets elevated and you do work your muscles at the same time -I followed up with Body Wisdom's Yoga for Every Body - Beginners practice for

legs, hips and feet. I used to do this DVD almost daily -mostly picking the shorter (under 30 min) practices. This was perfect for me today! And, I plan on sticking with this DVD for the rest of the week.Oh well - off to relax and enjoy a day off~Donna

Oooh, I love that yoga practice you did! I went for a long (50 minutes in the nearly 90 degree heat) with Miriam. She chased butterflies and I tried to get her to move on or turn around because it was hot and I was grumpy. I'll chase butterflies in the backyard with her but after a few minutes of running around in circles after a butterfly that has no interest in being caught (with her bare hands, she'd forgotten her trusty butterfly net) I was done. Oh well, she said afterwards that she'd had fun (thank goodness, I'm not so sure I did but I'm glad she did at least). I thought about doing video fitness too but just plain didn't want to after that. I'm finally having a mostly quiet day and am really thankful for it.
