Hi Donna,

How cool that your friend is from Michigan! If she was at Michigan State when I was there and we actually had a class together it would be a huge coincidence, especially when you consider that while I was there Michigan State (or MSU as we call it here) had over 40,000 undergrads! I was an English major, Spanish minor and got a secondary teaching certificate. I was also in the Honors College if that helps narrow it down any! ;-)

We usually get more of a spring than we've had this year. We had a winter/summer/spring mix with it being super cold then super hot and now very moderate. This has been a weird weather year even for us and our normally weird weather!

Friday - Yoga in the morning, walk later

Hi Everyone,

Today was my Yoga day - I did the 45 Minute "Extended Morning" practice from AM/PM Yoga for Beginners w/ Barbara Benagh (Body Wisdom DVD). Very good routine, a lot of releasing for the upper back and shoulders. I often do not realize how tight my upper back/shoulders are - I mostly focus on my lower back and hips - but boy, does my upper back need work, too. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I spend most of the day bent over a computer or steering wheel. Anyway, this was a nice routine for the morning.

Later this morning my friend and I are going to do our long walk. We're probably going to melt, although it will not be over 100 degrees when we walk it will still be plenty warm. But, I shall bring along water and hope for the best. This may be our last walk for a couple of weeks until our kids get settled into summer camp.

Take care!Donna
