Guest guest
Hi Everyone,A quick check-in! I apologize in advance for being brief!Today I did the cardio portion of Freytag's/Prevention's Fight Cellulite workout. I like this one - it is an interval-ish workout - 6 cycles each 6 minutes long- for the first 2 1/2 minutes you do low impact, next 2 1/2 minutes higher impact/higher intensity, last minute - high intensity drill. It is all athletic choreography and while challenging, is not so challenging that it is "dread" full. There is a lower body routine on the DVD as well but I skipped that since I didn't have time and was planning to do strength tomorrow anyway. After the cardio I did the "unwinding" practice again on Barbara Benagh's Yoga For Beginners DVD. I'm happy to have re-discovered yoga and yoga that is helpful for me. Aside from dealing with my aches and pains, I'm finding myself to be calmer and less stressed out. So, a good thing overall. Take care!Donna
Guest guest
Wonderful workout, Donna!!! I need to look at Freytag's stuff more. Anytime I've done it, I've liked it. She's not my favorite instructor but I don't dislike her either. I have enough to keep me going for a loooong time though so I should look for it in the library! :-) Wed - Cardio & Yoga Hi Everyone,A quick check-in! Guest guest
I'm pretty sure I've seen them there. I was at the library with the kids today, signing us all up for the summer reading programs, and thought about perusing the exercise videos, I still haven't tried a Gilad workout and they have a bunch. But, I still want to continue getting through my virgins. When I am done with that, or bored with it, I'll check out the library's offerings more. You have done extremely well with your fitness buying! I've got a few I haven't been able to trade that I need to pack up and send to Amazon. They're in the box, I even have bubble wrap on top of the box but haven't made the time to pack it up and do whatever I have to do on Amazon. Silly, I know. Maybe I'll do it tonight.
