He has only taken inositol, has taken it for two years, and is slowly starting to not take it. He is at a point where he is telling me that he is fine and doesn't need it anymore. He has taken as much as 18 grams a day for many months. When all his OCD symptoms/behaviors were gone, I cut it back to a maintenance dosage of 12 grams/day. Since it is so expensive, I'm hoping that we can reduce it or stop it altogether.
