He passed away very peacefully, in his sleep, without a single tremble which is what we all pray for. Wife to Lenny, NYC Firefighter Mommy to Elissa (6), LJ (5), (3) and (1 yr.) is our amazing Liss Kid, she has PMG or Pachygyria, microcephaly, hypertonia, hypotonia and mild cerebral palsy affecting her legs. She can say about 200 words now, walk, run, stop, and has figured out how to slow down. Turning while running has her stumped though. I am thankful for Ahmed passing away peacefully, and hope that our Hannah will be blessed the same way when her time comes. My tears are for you as grieving parents, for Ahmed's life being cut so short, and some for myself as I face the certainty of Hannah's life being short too. She and Ahmed seemed so similar. Thank you for sharing so much with us all recently. I admire your courage to continue investigating Ahmed's condition and I hope that your efforts are rewarded in some way. Knowledge is a powerful thing, and I pray that others will be blessed by Ahmed and by your willingness to help others learn about his condition, for the benefit of future patients.
