Oh yeh, you can bet that I would LOVE THAT candle!!

Re: Oinks!!!

Does your DH or SO understand the significance of "Oink!"? When a friend sent me a pink pig mug with an "oink!" in the bottom of the cup, I had to explain it to my DH.

You can find those mugs and other interesting stuff on a website called "Our Name Is Mud."

The most interesting item on that site was the "Exboyfriend burning in hell" votive candle holder.

Sorry for the late reply, been in Arkansas at a family reunion, at

which I learned I have tons of family members with hypo/hashi's.

Even one uncle with his thyroid removed, due to cancer. You learn

alot at reunions.

Yes, my husband knows the significance of *oink*, bless his heart.

He is the one to remind me in the evening after work... 'did you take

your pig?'. Don't know where I'd be without him.

I'll have to check out that website, think I need to do some shopping!

,

It may be evil, but you know what I have started doing? I no longer

talk to them about how much better THEY will feel if they just ditch

the synthroid and talk to the docs about armour. Now when they start

in about how bad they are feeling, all the little things that are

going on, I talk about how GREAT I am doing, how my hair is looking

gorgeous, I am wearing a size 4, I have tons of energy... I just rub

their faces in it every chance I get. Let me tell you, at this

reunion, none of my relatives could believe I look like I do, and

haven't even had a thyroid since 1998... I told them, check out

Armour, and told them about the support groups.

I had several convinced that you don't have to blindly follow the

doc, just because he is one. Get educated, and become an advocate

for yourself.
