Any teachers out there?

Hello,

I was wondering if there are any Special Ed or Regular Ed teachers

on this list. I am currently studying at GSU, and I am taking a

class in Special Education. The course is designed for Regular Ed

teachers to teach them how to make modifications in the classroom

for kids with special needs. Having had experience with ABA therapy,

I would like my class project to modify a lesson plan for a child

with autism. I think teachers need to know that these kids can (and

SHOULD) be included with typical peers- only 7 pages in my 500+ page

Special Education textbook even discuss autism (and this is the only

course in Special Education that Regular Ed teachers are required to

take!). To make a long rambling short (haha)I would like to be in

contact with a teacher in middle grades (preferably) that has

experience in this area. Web sites or other resources would also be

very helpful. Ironically, I am a Psychology major and a little lost

in the lesson plan area. Anyone with any information, please email

me privately at cloey987@....

Thanks,

Sara Cole
