Guest guest
Yes, I take 75mg of Effexor for anxiety. 250mg is a pretty high dose. It became less effective for me after about a year, so I tried to either try something else, or up the dose. My family doc upped the dose to 150mg, but I started experiencing side effects, namely heart palpations. At least I think that was what was causing them. Yes, there's nothing like experience. Docs can prescribe the meds based on their practice experience, but you see them for 15 minutes every month (or so). It's much more reliable to find someone who lives with a particular illness or disorder 24x7 to get the real life trials. Which I will say about Effexor - if you want to go off - be cautious and educated. Effexor is notorious for terrible withdrawal symtoms, which I have personally experienced. That's not a discussion for this group (unless everyone wants to know), but if you want more info, please e-mail me personally Cheers, FD > > Do any of you take meds for anxiety etc..
