Guest guest
I need some help figuring out the recommended dose of Vitamin D for an acute situation for a toddler. I have looked at various different sites, including the WAPF, but can't find anything specific enough. Perhaps I am not looking in the right places? I know that Dr. mentioned a certain number of IU's per pound of body weight, but I can't remember what the specific ratio was and can't seem to find it anywhere. My 21-month old has tooth decay on four of her front teeth, despite daily CLO and fermented butter oil (and a good diet without processed stuff and with raw milk kefir, raw butter, veggies, organic stuff, good fats, etc.) Speaking of which, I suspect that I myself am probably low on Vitamin D, as well. Can anyone point me to an easy-to-understand guideline of IU's per pound of body weight for an acute situation, not daily maintenance? Thank you for any help with this.
