I actually started out doing Jari Love Extremely Ripped 1000 but my muscles felt surprisingly fatigued as soon as I started. I went through about 15 minutes with it but with it being 81 minutes (I wanted to do the whole thing, I didn't even realize it had chapters until I put in the disc) I realized there was no way I was going to be able to do it at the level I expect of myself and put it back for another day. It moved at a quick pace and had athletic cardio and different levels of exercisers shown (I tried following the beginner), all of which I like so I think I will enjoy this one on a better day. I'm not very sore from my the yoga for upper body & Push Pull yesterday (circuit with more weights than cardio) but I just felt really fatigued (I also didn't sleep well last night so who knows, that might be part of it but it was a weird muscle fatigue that was really striking). Anyway, I put in another virgin, 's WATP for Abs Super Fat Burning 3 Miles. I have only one more I've never done (the Family Walk DVD). This was an older one, I had it on VHS (still in shrink wrap, I got it from someone at some time but I have no idea who or when) and it was typical but faster paced and used the Walk Away Belt. I do not have that gadget (and don't intend to get one) but I've used dumbbells or bands instead in the past. I considered doing it without anything (the older guy in her workouts did it without anything) because of the fatigue but decided, this is , that would be extreme wimpiness to go with nothing so I tied a resistance band around my waist and did it with that. OUCH! The ends that were left were long enough to do all the exercises but short enough to provide a good burn! I'm sure it was more resistance than her belt! Because this is an older one, it had all her typical moves and not much creativity beyond that and the music was pretty good but not great. The pace was very good though so that helped. I discovered some energy bursts in it (I think it was more determination to make it a really good workout despite how I felt because of quitting on the Jari workout) and I did some jogging instead of walking, skaters instead of side steps and made all the arm motions much bigger so I got a really good workout from it. She had her regulars plus a couple of others that show up in several workouts. My only real complaint was the non-existent stretch. You reach up your arms twice and that's it! I added on one of Tamilee's 10 minute stretches because I really needed something. I have a day off today but am needing to get a lot done so I'm off to do things. I'm glad I got the workout in though!
