I could go there and literally feel my Mom and Grandma with me since they passed. Here are more pictures. The before is the building I remember. The other two are the ones my sister took this morning. The bar that is still there is where Mike and I cut our wedding cake. I'm taking the fact that it is still standing as a sign that we're strong enough to weather any storm. Crazy thing is that if I had the money to do it, I'd still buy the land and rebuild it but with the downstairs bedrooms I'd always envisioned. It overlooks the Illinois River and you can literally see all the way into Arkansas from that hill in Oklahoma. I am so sorry you have witnessed the destruction that is left after tornadoes. A F4 went through my city last month and destroyed about 4 houses in my subdivision, including mine, but fortunately we were not harmed and were able to save a lot from our house. The people living right next to me weren't as blessed... they are still in hospital and their house was a complete and total loss. Sorry again about what you are going through. I definitely understand your feelings and will pray for rebuilding of your community and praying for allthe others that have been affected by these tornadoes; including Joplin! I finally had to turn off the weather channel... so sad to watch.
