Guest guest
Holly, I'm wondering if the lab orders did have a ft3 order. It is not called Free t3 it is called Triiodothyronine, Free, Serum. I thought the same thing, that it was not ordered on my labs, I asked the tech, if that trii... was the free t3 and he said it was. HTH Karrel Holly Mohr wrote: Dr. Wonderful wasn’t in the office Friday, so they couldn’t release my results to me. (he has to see them first). I wish I could have at least gotten some good labs out of the deal…. Wonder why he’d order Free T4 but not Free T3??? Guest guest
She had her labs done through Quest which is who we use in the office I work in. While docs can have custom lab slips done, ours does not list Free T3 and in the reference book it is listed as " T3, Free " . But when she gets copies she can look for both names. > > I would LOVE to know the answer to this. Guest guest
On the Quest form I had, there was the regular pre-printed stuff. On the bottom portion of the form was some stuff that had been added in what looked like a dot-matrix style printer. This is where 2 or 3 of the tests he ordered were marked. I know there was a T3, Free there, because the T3, Total was right below it. The ?? Thyroid Peroxide (now I am forgetting what it was called) was on there in this dot matrix printed section. I remember the ladies at the Quest office explaining it to me, since they missed the written in test at the very bottom (third section) of the form (the ACHT – or whatever that was). There’s a lady at that Plano Quest that draws blood on my special needs son that kind of knows what I have been going through my health. She was explaining that different offices can have different forms printed for them. Trying to catch up on all my mail… bit by bit… Holly From: eric bell Sent: Sunday, April 11, 2004 11:35 PM To: Texas_Thyroid_Groups Subject: RE: Re: Dr. Bussey (in Dallas) @ Dr. Bressler's office Holly, I'm wondering if the lab orders did have a ft3 order.
