Guest guest
Nope, I made sure to look for that! Surprised he tested anything at all – except maybe my IQ to make sure I could even do simple addition and subtraction for those calories. Guess I should have informed him I am a math minor. He probably would have doubted that too! I just can’t even fathom how human beings can treat each other the way this man treated me – much less that I get to PAY HIM for treating me with such disrespect! Nice, huh? Got a rather upsetting message today from a mom at school. She had a physical to get some life insurance, and found out she has Hepatitis C. She has 2 boys the ages of 2 of my boys and will be starting Interferon treatment this Sunday. Just sad! Guest guest
Holly, I'm so sorry about your visit. I wish you could have seen Dr. Bressler, I really like him. He called me yesterday to give me the results of my blood test and made a mistake in something he told me, I corrected him and he was very appalagetic and said he was wrong. He seems to me to be a very humble man. He is really working with me to help me feel better. That was his main goal yesterday when I talked to him, it was not what my levels looked like. Next time I go in to the office, I am going to tell him how you were treated by Dr. Bussy. That kind of behavior should not be tolerated. They need to know. Guest guest
Uh, forgive me Jan, but I really thought that that next-to-the-last one was a photo of one of the docs. I just love it, lol!! What IS that last one, my eyesight is horrible. I've never used these things either. Tx Re: Re: Dr. Bussey (in Dallas) @ Dr. Bressler's office This is a good example of why I say that there is no endo in the DFW area that I would recommend to a thyroid patient. And there are only a few doctors in the whole state that I would recommend for the person who has hypo symptoms, but "normal" numbers. None of those docs are endos. And the ones who call themselves thyroidologists are the worst bozos of the bunch. The few endos who prescribe Armour tend to keep their patients undermedicated due to TSH worship. The jury is still out on Exstrum. The one person I know who sees him is a cancer/nodule patient who needs to keep their TSH suppressed. I would like to see what he does with an ordinary hypo. . . . ????? I just discovered how to use the "smiley face" feature of my Yahoo mail. . . . .uh. . . I hope you don't mind. . . .The only thing I don't like about it is that there is no "Oinker". . . .well, there is a and a if you like barnyard animals. . . . jan
Guest guest
It's kind of like the angel and devil syndrome. How in the world do they co-exist in the same office building? I wouldn't want to partner with anyone who even came close to besmirching my medical reputation. Are they simply independents in the same building, with a common secretarial poole maybe? Guest guest
Ya know, I was always a peace-loving person, but when he called me a liar (which is what he told her), he wouldn't have been able to say any of the rest of it. Guess I would have gone to jail, but frankly, in this case, it would have been worth it. And I definitely wouldn't have paid him. I've had one dumbo tell me, concerning my thyroid that "Forget that! That's all over with!", and one dumb endo that said "Once the thyroid fails, it always stays the same." The first one is the one who originally diagnosed me, BTW! The second one is an endo in Alvin, Tx. I am unaware of any other endos in the Lake , Clute, Angleton, and a couple of other surrounding towns, except for Houston and a little further away. Tx Re: Dr. Bussey (in Dallas) @ Dr. Bressler's office Here is a site where you can post info on bad docs. http://www.voy.com/171167/ On our Texas site, we have a database feature where you can enter information on docs, good and bad. You remain anonymous, and all future members can read your comments and avoid a bad doc or see a good one. Holly Mohr wrote: I had my appt. yesterday with Dr. Bussey. Guest guest
I would LOVE to know the answer to this. I think I sat there the entire time expecting him to change his tune because I had heard much nicer things about Dr. Bressler. I am just kicking myself for not waiting the extra month to see Dr. Bressler….I just feel so run-down that a month seems SO long. Guest guest
I want to hear all of it! That's another thing we're all here for. Gives me another good reason for being even more stubborn. I think us thyroid people's personalities tend to be more like that anyway. If we weren't, we'd be giving up way too soon. I was handed antidepressants and tranquilizers for yrs, feeling all the time that my thyroid had something to do with it, but really thought that doctors always knew best. The further it went along, the more I realized that they're just people too, with all the same sicknesses of the rest of society. I'm thinking that many of these doctors like the this one, are actually psociopaths, manic depressives, and the like. They need to have two or three handfuls of medication shoved down their throats everyday. Then, when they complain that they're really not feeling better, they need to be told to shut up and take the medicine that is handed to them because it really is all in their heads. That'll be $2 or 300 bucks, thank you for visiting my establishment. Tx RE: Re: Dr. Bussey (in Dallas) @ Dr. Bressler's office I would LOVE to know the answer to this. Guest guest
Dr. Wonderful wasn’t in the office Friday, so they couldn’t release my results to me. (he has to see them first). I wish I could have at least gotten some good labs out of the deal…. Wonder why he’d order Free T4 but not Free T3??? Guest guest
Free T3 is not even on our lab slip - I have to write it in, and since he orders that and TSH most of the time, and treats primarily on Free T3 and symptoms I write it in lots. > > I would LOVE to know the answer to this. Guest guest
I would say he is in his late 40's early 50's. This guy was really young, and from what I gather, Dr. Bressler is a much older gentleman. Isn’t that right, Karrel?

Guest guest
Holly, I'm wondering if the lab orders did have a ft3 order. It is not called Free t3 it is called Triiodothyronine, Free, Serum. I thought the same thing, that it was not ordered on my labs, I asked the tech, if that trii... was the free t3 and he said it was.
