Guest guest
Hi, Jan: Since my doctor " fired " me as a thyroid patient, I am really going to need to do something else soon. I'm seriously considering a trip to Lubbock to see Dr. but wondered if you would mind answering a couple of questions? My salivary/cortisol test results all came back with very low ranges, some borderline. Is Dr. experienced in treating for adrenal fatigue? Did you say once before that he is treating you for that? Also, I know he prescribes the bio-identical hormones and is a biochemist but how is he as a thyroid doctor? Can he treat a nodule and does he understand how Hashimoto's can really mess things up? Do you know if he's familiar with the block & replace method I was reading about on the about forum? (tapazole to block & thyroid hormones to replace). And what happens if you get sick or have problems? A telephone call? Sorry about all the questions. I am desperate for a good doctor and I've been through so many. I want to make an informed choice this time -- especially traveling 400 miles to do so. Thank you as always and hope everything is great with you. Guest guest
Hi Jan: I hope I'm not bothering you but I'm not sure you saw my post? I'm just trying to figure out the best thing to do and I've already seen so many docs. If these questions are too personal, please let me know. Thanks. Have a great day! > Hi, Jan: > > Since my doctor " fired " me as a thyroid patient, I am really going to > need to do something else soon.
