AAFP and IMPs

I finally got a chance to look at the listserv. It took a while as I

have never done anything like this before. If I trip up and use this

thing the wrong way please let me know.

I wanted to take a minute to thank everyone for the introduction to

other IMPs. I have been working with this concept for three years

and not quite sure that I was doing the right thing. Over the

weekend I felt like the ugly duckling who had found his family. (not

that i am by any means a swan but certainly i felt like i was

surrounded by swans) The meeting and the Parameetings have left me

with a renewed zeal and confidence that efficient, excellent patient

centered care can be delivered by this system.

I hope that everyone made a safe trip home. I am looking forward

sharing info through this site. Especially the info on EMRs and

Alteer. I too have Alteer. Although it is very fancy for the billing

I would like to see more on the EMR side and I am not sure they are

intersted in this. I am willing to put my voice in for change

anywhere that I can if there might be strength in numbers.

Again, thanks to everyone whois pioneering this. It is sooooo

comforting to be among friends in a seemingly strange land.
