Hi , we haven't augmented with inositol but did use it alone

successfully for quite a while. If you decide to try using it, I

would give it a few weeks (just like we do with prescribed meds) to

see if it'll kick in and help any and, of course, you should use a

bit less of it than if you were using it alone.

No expert of course. Also I don't think there's a difference

betweent the myo-inositol and just inositol. I've found articles

with both terms that pertain to OCD.

If you try it, let us know how it goes. I still plan to put

back on it eventually!

Hi ,

I have given my son Amer Inositol with his SSRI's after askeing his

psychologist, it was fine with him, I was rasing the dose graually untill I

reached 15gr/day, he was feeling good with it. We did not have it in our

country in grams, we have it 500mg, so I use to give him big number every

time to reach the 15grm. Then I have stoped it after one year, I did not

remember I have noticed any chage in his condition.
