Hi,

I'm extremely new to this, and haven't even found a scoby yet, but I'm

in the planning stage.

My question is,

can you use commercial Kombucha tea as your starting liquid?

They sell it here in DC, and I've been drinking it, but it says 95%

organic raw Kombucha, and 5% juice.
