Guest guest
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/03/22/garden/22impact.html?pagewanted=3 & _r=2 This is an interesting article about a couple in Manhatten living a year with little impact on the earth. We are doing something similar. In January my dh and I decided, after much talk and hashing out of rules, to go this year without puchasing except necessities and/or compacting. Truth be told, our goal is not necessarily to make a lighter impact on the earth as the couple above (though that does come with the package). Our goal is to be debt-free except our mortgage and have a 6 month savings so my dh can quit teaching and help me run our business. It's a good read that I thought others might enjoy.
