Guest guest
Kathy - how do you freeze the dill? Do you just wash it, dry and then freeze? I have never tried freezing it. I LOVE dill and would love to freeze it to have fresh dill year round. Kate B
Guest guest
My employer is implementing a wellness program, and one part is to take tests and then be entered in a drawing. I took the cholesterol test just to see what it was about, and one step was choosing a food for breakfast. The choices were oatmeal, fried egg or yoghurt. The only correct answer was the oatmeal. I guess they wouldn't have allowed this great breakfast, either. > > Breakfast this morning was an omelet made with Alvin's eggs, shallots sauteed in olive oil, cream cheese, and lots of dill from my garden (that I had frozen), topped with a generous spoonful of herring roe, and accompanied by rye toast with good butter. Delicious and nutritious! > > Kathy >
