Guest guest
Mychael, Yes, the testosterone level should be checked occaisionally. In men, low testosterone can cause tiredness, mood swings, weight loss, depression, and loss of sexual desire. I get checked 2-3 times a year. Last check, Dr said I was "severely low" on testosterone, so I'm taking Androgel 7.5 MG. You get that libido back, feel less tired, and if you wanted to, working out will create muscles faster than w/o the replacement therapy. (My New Year resolution: WORK OUT to add muscle. I'm tired of that gaunt look, and the year I worked out 5 days/week I looked and felt great. I want that again) Mychael Dark wrote: i have to admit i am a little niave with some of thistestosterone talk. should i talk to my doctor to seeif she is testing its levels?i do get worn out easily and seem to need ten plushours of sleep. can someone tell me more about it?thanks mychael __________________________________________ Yahoo! Guest guest
Hmm let's see I can tell you some of the stuff. Foods? snack often crackers with tahini and avacado, greens, tomatoes, quinoa, lots of fresh fruits (hot climate ya know?) and lots of water. bowel movements 3 times a day. Urine not sure. Guest guest
In what respect? Do you mean emotionally or other way? The testosterone problem has been one throughout his life and bad childhood. Job very good and relaxed, family life (see above), home environment now sucks partially but wonderful in other ways. Guest guest
not really much of a baked anything person. Don't quote me on this but I'm pretty sure he's positive it's the testosterone being too high. Peace, R PS I can't imagine throwing back a sweet veggie thing would be bad to do anyway........BUT he is VERY mellow and relaxed on the regular. > > > baked stuff, tahini and avocado makes my liver temperamental so maybe > that is setting him off or clogging the works if his liver is sensitive. > > some shiitake tea or sweet veggie drink, milk thistle herb and barley > grass powder and cooked barley with rice (boiled), daikon etc may help > the liver to relax. all the usual liver friendly things. > > > -- > > Ilanit > > -------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- > > Little Tree Pty Limited, Melbourne, Australia (Little Tree). ® > registered trademark, © copyright 2003. Guest guest
Hi Reg, If you want to look at it in terms of the five elements this kind of quick up and outgoing emotional response can be seen as tree / wood energy quickly transforming into fire energy. In theory the foods that would help most would be high in settling soil energy and inward metal energy. Whole grains, root vegetables, soups, stews would all help whilst reducing spicy, stimulating foods. Spices, coffee, alcohol, sugar, chicken, additives, etc. On another note it would be good for him to find ways of separating reality from what he makes up in his head. Rage is nearly always due to the assumptions, expectations, judgements we make, the shoulds and shouldn’ts. I would recommend he reads Loving What Is by Byron katy. All the best, Simon Hey Simon! Well, he has the propensity to get rage like. Fully contained but notices that it's not a good feeling. > >> > > >>> > > Ok, how does one naturally lower testosterone. Guest guest
Hey Simon. Thanks, I forgot about this, lol He's vegan no alcohol, sugar, spicy, stimulating anything, coffee or additives BUT having more whole grains and root veggies is something he sure could use. But........ do you think so even with it being hotter than hell? AND how you described the emotions are right on the mark, he's the king of assumptions, expectations, judgements we make, the shoulds and shouldn¹ts. I should check out getting him that book! Thank you thank you thank you. Peace, Reg > >>>>> > >> > > >>>>>>> > >>> > > Ok, how does one naturally lower testosterone.
