Guest guest
Hi. I've been off the list for a few months. Stuff happens. But I managed to let my scobies sit neglected for 6 months (long story). Some looked so bad I had to throw them out. On the 3 remaining jars which have multiple scobies, the top scoby has sealed to the jars so that even if you tip the jar, the liquid doesn't release around the edges to cover it. I've not added sugar or anything. Just neglected them totally. The ones underneath, therefore, have been cut off from air but are at least covered with tea. I'm going to try to revive them, but in the mean time I would like to have a new scoby. Okay, what happened was that I was very very ill. Started drinking kombucha and got so much better that it was like I was born again! I actually started living a life again after years of debilitating and crippling illness. And now, WHAM, I'm ill again. I need my kombucha back. Learned my lesson. The hard way, as usual, LOL. Is there anyone on this list that lives in Tulsa or nearby willing to share or sell a scoby? Thank you! Deb
