Kendall...Lots of products out there....Designs for Health ‘s “Paleomeal” or Prescribed Choice’s “Supreme Nutrition” might be two worth checking out (both powders). This could also be a good time to invest either in a juicer (I think the triturator-screw types are the best out there—like Green Star, for example) or a good blender (Vita-Mix, BlendTec, etc). If she’s not likely to juice, the blender, in particular, could be something she may use long after her healing from surgery...Bob

I have a 30 yof patient getting a second gum surgery this week and needs to be on a liquid diet for 1 week, soft foods diet for 2 weeks.

Pt reports feeling very hungry, unsatisfied and under-nourished the last time she underwent this procedure, as the guidelines she was given by her doc were not helpful.

Do any of you have any suggestions/guidelines for this type of liquid nutrition, that could also support her in the healing process?

Thanks,

Kendall
