Guest guest
When I was trying to “partner” with a PA, she wanted to “cherry pick” the acute stuff and see 25 99213s per day and leave me with all the chronic disease, multiple prescription Medicare follow ups. One of many reasons why that relationship didn’t last. Annie Re: walmart clinics I have to admit I am worried about these, although the nearest one to me, is over 30 minutes away. They seem to only be set up to take the easy stuff, the colds, UTI, etc. But I like having some of these each day, I don't want to be left with only difficult issues. On the other hand a second Urgent Care just opened 5 min from me, about 6 mo ago. And I haven't seen any drop in my business. I continue to have good word of mouth. I think if they can get same day access (the day they call or w/in 24 hr) very few will go to these anyway, because we already have the access, and they know us. -------------- Original message -------------- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 They will be competition for a certain type of patients and complaints and for certain physicians (long waiting time, ultra-short visits...). > How are Walmart clinics going to be set up?
