Guest guest
ah, yes, the key to doing a good job and getting paid, and for risk management. i am used to dictating, since i was an intern. some time ago, i upgraded to dragon 8 pro, and had some better results than with previous versions, however i still had some signficant problems, even with a dual core cpu and 2 gb of ram. i have now upgraded to dragon 9 pro, and there is a HUGE difference. much better. i find that even with minimal training, the recognition is much better, so i anticipate even better recognition with more training. my goal is to dictate the entire note during the visit, in front of the patient, and then it's essentially done, without having to do extensive corrections. that process improved from dragon 7 to 8, and is now even better in 9. go to knowbrainer.com for information on dragon, to the phorum page. i have no need for the medical version, the pro version works fine. i also got knowbrainer's medical vocabularies. no financial attachment to dragon or knowbrainer. LL Talk is cheap. Use Yahoo! Messenger to make PC-to-Phone calls. Great rates starting at 1¢/min.
