Guest guest
> Are any of you familiar with this? **Sounds like another twin to BFL. I wonder which was first, the chicken or the egg. It seems many health clubs and nutraceutical companies are having competing challenges lately. Who knows maybe the world will be full of fab looking, healthy bodies one day. And keep working that BFLButt Off! Dianne
Guest guest
It is interesting to note that on the Bodylogix site (www.bodylogix.com) they use two models whom, I believe are familiar to me from the BFL challenge (either the book or from Body Of Work). _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp
Guest guest
Bodylogix= Supplement company started by some of the first competitors in the body of work challenge to make millions off of people who want to get in better shape by taking their over priced over hyped supplements. I think I recall you had to spend so much a month on their products to be in their challenge. I could be wrong. It has been a long time since I visited their site. You don't need all the supplements to get into shape, unless you are trying to win money and a contract with the company. Even then your views will change as you start to get into shape. Save your money. Look at Sara here on the list or go over to lean and strong and glance at Pam Brown. The only thing Pam did was use protein in powder to up here intake. For Joe on his supplement post Have you tried the program with out using all the supplements first? Most people have great results with MRP's, which is just a convenience food or some added protein powder. The only thing I dislike about BFL is it gets people to spend hard earned money on supplements they may (DO) not need. I love to fish. There is a little saying that goes like this " lures are not made to caught fish there made to caught fishermen " . I feel the same about supplements. There most often over hyped and the articles in the magazines read like advertisements. The cost of most of the supplements supercedes the benefit. Take HMB. It is very expensive and too many pros and cons out there. Again look at Sara here on the list and Pam brown at Lean and Strong. I'm sure there are other people that you can find that took little or no supplements. What you might get from it may not be worth the cost. Supplements I take are creatine and glutamine. One helps keep the muscles hydrated and the other helps with recovery. Cost is cheap compared to the rest on the market and I can tell a difference when I use them. I use some MRPs and protein powder to up my intake of protein. I plan on ditching the MRPs and just using protein powder along with fruit for some of my meals. If good looks came in a bottle, there would be no overweight people. Unfortunately becoming a nation that lives off of processed foods we have all gotten fat. We eat the wrong fats that cause us to get fat. We restrict our fat to the point where the body makes its own destructive fat. Unfortunately it takes hard work and a good diet to get where you want to be. It takes time. We didn't get out of shape over night so you wont get in shape over night. Create weekly goals that you can achieve to keep you interest up. If you slip up, forget about it. Learn from it and then move on. If you always press forward you will get to where you want to be. Body for Life Is not a new program. It is based on principles used for a long time by many body builders. Bill just happens to be the first to put it in an easy to follow program for the rest of the masses. Like Brett says " Its weight lifting for dummies " . This is one reason why you will find that so many programs out there seem to be like BFL > Are any of you familiar with this? > > Dorothy, Working My BFLButt Off!
