Guest guest
Hi Joanna, chelation is used to help the body rid itself of poisoning from mercury and other heavy metals. It is approved and is used for children with lead poisoning. Now, and just very recently, some DAN Drs. have been using a chelation protocol (DMSA & Lipoic Acid) to help these children (many who I believe are suffering from this poisoning that manifests itself in their autistic symptoms) to help recover them. I am currently in the process of writing a web site with much good information about chelation for autistic children and am hoping to have it uploaded this weekend. I will post to the list when it's done. -- June " Do little things with great love. Guest guest
Naturally Preferred (Kroger brand) Rice Milk is GFCF. We use that and alternate back and forth with the Almond Breeze milk. The CDSA test from Great Smokies, if you can have one done, will list prescription and alternative medicines that the yeast are sensitive to. There is some good yeast info at http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm. Who makes it and is it clearly labeled or do I need to really check it out? Another question. I tried GNC yesterday to see if they had grapefruit seed extract and they didn't so I asked what other vitamins my son could take to kill off yeast. She suggested acidopholis. I bought some, but when I got home I found an article (on line) that said that it won't get rid of yeast. Has anyone tried it and if so did it work for you? Guest guest
I have also had my son on the grapefruit seed extract and have experienced negative behavior as well. I can't tell if it's die off or if it's just not agreeing with him. He's also taking Nystatin (rotating with GSE), and he's not displaying that kind of behavior. -------------- Original message from "tylers_mom03" : -------------- > I have been giving my son the grapefruit seed extract since Saturday > evening.
