ocd medications and brusing

Hi all,

Has anyone had any psych meds that have caused severe brusing?

My 18 yr old is on prozac 80mg and stratera 10mg and she is having bruises

that pop out of nowhere. Thanks LoriT in NJ

Hi Lori-

I just read through the package inserts for Strattera and Prozac,

and neither one comments on bruising as a side effect. Regardless

of the origin of the bruises,I would think it would be a good idea

to check with your child's physician. He/she might want to do some

basic blood tests. Good luck-
