Guest guest
Hi All, I was hoping to get more soap nuts in at the Warehouse but my wholesale source is out. I am waiting for him to call when he gets more in. GREAT NEWS!! I have a new source for tea bags (and they will double for soap nuts once I can get them.). I am so very pleased that I will be able to offer you my tea blends in muslin bags. Not only are they made in the USA, they are made right here in Minnesota. The quality is excellent and while the price is a little higher than the other bags, I feel that they are well worth it. I'll see if I can afford to absorb it. Well, I've just got to make a trip down to the Warehouse but am not sure when I'll be able to do it. Will shoot for Saturday but that most certainly isn't set in stone. I'll update as the week progresses. Are you folks enjoying the lamb and beef that got delivered last week? I will make up a lamb seasoning mix and bring it down on my next trip. The surgery that I had on my shoulder about 3 years ago has apparently gone the same way as the surgery on my ankle, adding a new source of constant pain to my life. I'm not sure about making spaetzle, since it takes a lot of arm action. is also trucking, making him generally unavailable to help me during the week. My 2 yr old heifer, Snickers, is in the barn. She will not be waiting for warmer weather to calve. She undoubtedly will only have a single but is so big that I automatically worry about twins. Darwin is at it again. He is out in the rabbit building and managed to tangle up the electric cords, thereby breaking the light AND the electric chicken waterer heater. Stupid moron, the heater cost almost as much as he did. How he did this is a mystery, the light cord was up in the air(light was hanging from a chain which got torn down too) and the heater cord was in a PVC pipe. Rabbit-proof but obviously not Darwin-proof. BTW, he was not wrapped up in anything this AM, wasn't even near them. But I'm not fooled, the rabbits are too short and too smart to have caused this much havoc. Off to pickle some eggs, Pat Z.
