Interesting.  It sounds to me like an inability of the nervous system to reset itself/communicate properly.  A few undas and organotherapies are coming to mind:Unda 8 (for internal communication), 47 (CNS/brain) and 33 (circulatory, but I think of this as promoting communication between parts of the body via energetic circulation), and/or 710 (closed spaces including sinuses and ears).

I'd also consider organotherapies of the inner ear, eye, and cerebellum taken together to promote communication between these organs.  Seroyal no longer makes inner ear or eye organos, but Professional Complementary Health Formulas does.  PCHF also makes a muscle/ligament/cartilage combo which may help considering that this is where proprioceptors live.

Hi everyone,

I have a strange, rare and peculiar case that I need help with.

The patient has had MdDs (Mal de Debarquement Syndrome)off and on for about 8years with recent unrelenting episode for last 2 years. MdDS is " an imbalance or rocking/swaying sensation often both " felt " and " seen " by the sufferer that occurs after exposure to motion (most commonly after a sea cruise or a flight). Although other forms of travel have been known to trigger it. " http://www.mdds.org.uk/

She has been worked up by many MDs and a few DCs and NDs.

It is most common with perimenopausal women so we balanced her hormones and lifestyle with herbs, nutrients, A/I diet and BHRT(thyroid, BiEst and P4). I am afraid I have done her a disservice as her CC has not improved except for the typical one or two days slight improvement, though she has more energy. She is not overweight or unhealthy and all other findings are normal. We tested heavy metals via Doctors Data and they were slightly elevated above baseline with a 6 hour urine (mercury and lead) which I was told is pretty normal and clean (not worthy of treating). Another ND treated a similar pt with full recovery via chelation in Phx.

I would really like to use homeopathy as her virtigo-like ssx seem to fit a number of remedies. But, drainage also seems like a logical and superior method and next step, as she seems ready/fertile now (all BTG except COP for 6 months).

No idea which UNDA's or gemmos or oligo's to start with.. any ideas or suggestions? It would be much appreciated.

Thanks for considering,

Brad West, ND

Also, how is this pt's adrenal function?  Any issue there?
