Guest guest
Thank you for the welcome! I have been vegetarian for about four years since a Near Death Experience " Woke me up " . For about a year, I've been Waking up to the Truth in so many areas, and am definitely moving into veganism. I can't believe how hypnotized this world is. It's pretty scary. I have to admit, though, guys. I grew up big time politically conservative, and still hang onto a lot of my root values. But my mind has opened and changed even some of what I thought I knew in that area, as well. Especially regarding religion. On the Other Side, I was shown some of the Laws of the Universe, and knowing some of that, brings me to macrobiotics. It is one of the closest things to the common sense that is Universal spiritual Truth. I may have Seen a lot, but I still have to learn what it's all about. I'm reading my first book, " The Hip Chic's Guide, etc. " and it's resonating very well with me, and I'm so excited. My health was poor all my life and I really believe I might be able to get better as I give my body, mind and spirit the opportunity to heal itself. I hope as I pose all my ridiculously naive and odd questions, you all will have patience with me and not be so exasperated, that you kick me off the forum. ;P Thanks again! amy 34 yr. old mommy of four little girls, age 10, twin nine year olds and a four year old, and almost always happily married to my hubby, who can't help but be moved by what vegetarianism/(and vegan) is all about. Guest guest
Oh! Please know that I take no interest in judging anyone else for where they are at. I observe how certain things happen, ..cause and effect, and see how people aren't given the Whole Truth, and act accordingly, and I wish I could help Open them up to reality, ..but only because I believe it is so freeing. Not because I see someone as less than I. No matter where we are at, hopefully, it is all good, for a wonderful learning experience, that eventually brings us to the right place. Peace! amy > > > > amycall45 > > I really need support. Guest guest
It's an excellent point - that we are all are SOMEWHERE on this learning adventure - and another point, usually where we are is a reflection of our condition - so as you eat better (I call it cleaner, perhaps that sounds less judgmental??) you'll see yourself changing. btw, I LOVE the hip chick's guide - she's funny and right on - take your time, try her recipes, and when you finish the book, feel free to reread it - lots more soaks in on another reading. Enjoy the adventure Klaraamycall45 wrote: Oh! Please know that I take no interest in judging anyone else forwhere they are at. Guest guest
Let's hear about this near death experience. Trust me your questions will not be naive. If possible you can search thru the archives, you will see some questions I ask which could seem ridiculous to some and really amazing to others. Think about a young child if they ask 'what is 5x5'? they don't know the answer, it's difficult to them. After one learns the times table the answer seems simple. We should all learn and grow through life. Your new growth spurt is health and diet related. The smartest thing is that you've come to the right place. I look forward to your input! By the way, you can't imagine what psychos we've put up with here, asking questions and wanting to learn would NEVER get you thrown out. It's fun and helps us all. Ask away. Peace and love, Reggie > > > > amycall45 > > I really need support. Guest guest
Yes, I am in the states. This book is looking very familiar to me. When my daughter came home for Christmas she brought some stuff with her that she had in storage from her Manhattan days. Some of this was a box of books and I believe this book is in her stuff. I will have to dig it out. She has been vegan for years. Jeanine > > > > > > > > amycall45 > > > > I really need support.
